The whole world fell shamelessly in love with his non-specific, hopey changey rhetoric back in 2008 ... how do you like him now? Music and lyrics for this funny paradoy of Toby Keith's big hit, complete with really bad animation, were written by Matt Chastain from our affiliate in Athens, GA, WNGC Country 105.1

Colt Ford Appears at the Grand Ole Opry
Colt Ford made his debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage at the Ryman Auditorium on Jan. 30. Colt could hardly believe the news at first saying, “When I heard I was going to get to play the Grand Ole Opry, I thought they were pulling my leg. I never in a million years thought I would get this chance. This will be as close as I can get to heaven while playing music.” Among the songs on Ford’s play list was his newest single, "Cold Beer," featuring Jamey Johnson on accompanying vocals. The single is from Ford’s debut album, Ride Through The Country.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP US HELP DENE'S GIRLS
Moby in the Morning Program Director Dene Hallem died Nov. 21, 2009, following a brief illness. Mary Beth, Gracie and I were Dene Hallam's closest family as his life ended, and with that position we feel the need to take the lead to ensure anything done "for Dene" will directly benefit Dene's three daughters, 17-year-old twins and a 10-year-old, he loved so dearly. Those of us who worked with Dene over the years have joined together to create a fund to help assure the future of his beloved daughters.

A special way to say thanks to soldiers
Scott Truitt, founder of The Gratitude Campaign, thought it would be nice if civilians had a gesture or sign they could use to say "thank you" to soldiers quickly and easily in airports and other public places without having to approach them and invade their privacy. He did some research and found the sign that is now being used nationwide. Is this limited to the military? Not at all. Scott says if you look around you you'll find lots of people who are serving their communities, from local to global. If you appreciate their service, give them a sign. Say "thank you from the bottom of my heart." Click the logo at left to view a video about this great new campaign.
