Taco Salad Category: Salads and Dressings
MobyInTheMorning.com 01/15/2009
Taco Salad Contributor: Donna Cheek
From: Gillsville, GA

Ingredients:

2 16oz cans of Red kidney beans (washed and drained)
1 package of Taco Seasoning
1 large bottle of Ranch dressing
2 or 3 Tomatoes (Diced)
2 bunches of green onions and tops (chopped up)
1 package of shredded mild cheddar cheese
1 bag of corn chips (crushed)
1 head of lettuce.
2 1/2 Lbs of Hamburger meat

Cooking Instructions:

Brown hamburger meat in skillet (drain well ). Stir in a pack of taco seasoning and set aside to cool. Cut up the lettuce and cover the bottom of 9x12 dish. Put meat over the lettuce. Put the well drained kidney beans over the meat. Put chopped green onion and green tops over the beans. Put the diced tomatoes over the onions. If this 9X12 pan will be eaten in one meal pour the dressing over the tomatoes. Garnish with crushed corn chips and cheese.

Serving Suggestions:

If this dish is not going to be eaten at one time spoon out want you want into a bowl or plate. Then put the dressing, corn chips and cheese on it and save the rest for later. This way it will not get soggy.
