Abortion comment

This message is for Moby. First let me say that I really enjoy your show. We are just on the edge of your broadcast area listening to 97.5 in Doniphan, MO and we cannot get your show all the time. If you can get any other stations to play your show in this area, please try. My wife and I both are veterans of the Vietnam era and are both country music fans. We find that there are not very many stations that are playing “country oldies” any more. They are almost entirely into the country rock scene. We also enjoy your support to the troops and their families. The main reason for this letter though is to say that I listened to you when you were saying that you had watched a video of an abortion procedure. You then went on to promote a song that I assumed was about this. I find your comments on politics and President Obama humorous and I usually have a grin on my face every time you talk about President Obama, but I found this offensive. I did as many people will not do. I turned off the radio for a while and then returned to listen to your station after a cooling off period. I am also opposed to abortion except for extreme conditions such as the health of the mother, but I do not think your program is the place to push the issue. I will continue to listen to your program, but if I feel you are overstepping a subject, I will turn you off for a while. Thank you for listening to me rant for a while and keep up the good work of putting the veterans to the front. I would appreciate it if you would not put these comments on air as I have several friends that listen to your show and I don’t want them to know I wrote in. Thank you for your time XXXX Greenville, MO.
If I do refer to your comments, brother, I’ll do it without mentioning your name. I pray you’ll be okay with that. If one woman heard my comments and decided to spare the life of the human in her womb, how have I done harm?
I do want to tell you that I am grateful for your patriotic service to America, I’m grateful for the vow you took to protect and defend the constitution, and I’m grateful that you would take issue with anything you might hear me say, cool off a bit and remain in the radio family. God bless you, and every natural born member of your family.
Yeah baby, Moby
